NetSorted is built around data minimisation. Our tools compute in your browser, so the details you type in — speeds, household usage, and similar — are not sent to us.
What we collect
- Server access logs (legitimate interests): our web server records requests (including IP address, which we anonymise where we can) to run and secure the site, prevent abuse, and understand search-engine and AI-crawler activity. Retained for a short period (currently up to 30 days) then rotated out.
- CDN / edge data (legitimate interests): our CDN, Cloudflare, processes requests at its network edge (e.g. traffic volumes, country, threats, caching) to deliver and protect the site.
- Analytics — only with consent: if you accept, we use Umami, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool we host ourselves. It records aggregate usage (pages, referrers, country, device) and a few non-personal product events. No cookies, no personal data, no cross-site tracking, and we never sell data. It does not load if your browser sends “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control.
- Tool inputs: kept in your browser and never transmitted to us.
